Dr. Joe Hair
Dr. Joe Hair was born and raised in Fitzgerald, GA. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School, and was voted "Mr. FHS" by his classmates. He attended Valdosta State College where he served as the Chief Justice of the Student Judicial Committee. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. Hair is an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, the Northwest District Dental Society, and the Georgia Dental Association where he has taught the "Expanded Duties for Dental Assistants" courses since 1991. He has served as the Expanded Functions Liaison since 2000. He has given back to the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry by serving as an Associate Clinical Professor since 1985. Dr. Hair holds a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, which is an award bestowed upon only 7% of dentists worldwide. He also holds a Fellowship from the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Hair has had extensive continuing education in reconstructive dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, as well as cosmetic and functional dentistry including functional and aesthetic programs at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. In addition to teaching classes to dental assistants for the Georgia Dental Association, Dr. Hair has lectured to other dentists at regional and national dental meetings such as The Hinman Dental meeting, The Yankee Dental Congress, The California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hair has been in private practice since 1982. |
